The Oregon Coast is a beach lovers best kept secret. Other beaches are crowded and although popular with many, Oregon has many beaches that are pristine and inviting and for most of the season, surprisingly not crowded. This beach is close to Cloverdale near Pacific City and is somewhat hard to find if you don't know a local.
I love photography because it always surprises me. I like to merge portraits with photos of nature because the process always has unexpected results. I have created scenes giving Mother Nature a voice and a cause. I have created portraits that bring Shakespearean characters to life. I have been lucky enough to win several awards in the Photography and Fine Arts Exhibition at the California State Fair. I have had Editor Favorites on Your Shot the National Geographic Website. My photo "Seasons of Life" was published by National Geographic Your Shot, selected by Maggie Steber for the Nat Geo story, "Not Just a Face..." I have had many of my photos featured on Instagram by Ourfotoworld and PhotowalkGlobal.

You are absolutely right about the Oregon Coast Marilyn. It is usually very uncrowded, and a very beautiful place to visit. With your wonderful image of the Oregon Coast, you proved your point very nicely. I love this sunset shot. It is awesome! :-)

Magnificent sunset and view, Marilyn. Ive only experienced Canon Beach which I ill never forget. So different from East Coast seaside and beaches.
