Hermione from Shakespeare's A Winter's Tale declaring, "Sad tales are best for Winter..." and the branches of the trees in the forest wrap around her countenance and become like her tears. My tears are many but hope is also in the light of my eyes and the silver light bleeds through the forest air like peace growing to calm our minds.
About Marilyn MacCrakin
I love photography because it always surprises me. I like to merge portraits with photos of nature because the process always has unexpected results. I have created scenes giving Mother Nature a voice and a cause. I have created portraits that bring Shakespearean characters to life. I have been lucky enough to win several awards in the Photography and Fine Arts Exhibition at the California State Fair. I have had Editor Favorites on Your Shot the National Geographic Website.
